At each site one transect with three stations as follows: top of the swash zone, middle of the swash zone and one sub-littoral at 1 m depth. One sampling during october 1992.\nA 45 µm mesh screen was used to sieve the sediments. Samples consisted of three sections, each 4 cm thick (0-4, 4-8 and 8-12 cm). Specimens were transferred to anhydrous glycerol and evenly srpead on permanent slides for species identification.
