Target habitats are globally distributed algal/ hard bottom and sea-grass/ soft bottom communities. For each study site, replicate samples are collected at high, mid and low inter-tidal and 1, 5 and 10m sub-tidal depth (where possible at 15 and 20m). The NaGISA protocols (which are standardized) include: (1) Passive sampling, photography and observational techniques, estimates of percent cover of colonial invertebrates and rhizoidal macro algae and counts of algal stripes and solitary fauna within quadrates. (2) Active sampling, core samples of sea grass beds, and careful removal of organisms from small quadrants within macro algal sites. (3) Assessment, measurements of surface and bottom seawater temperature and a visual classification of substrata. For more details please see the project website http://www.nagisa.coml.org/. The URL specifies what you want: the dataset, a description of the graph or the subset of the data, and the file type for the response.
Tabledap request URLs must be in the form
https://coastwatch.pfeg.noaa.gov/erddap/tabledap/datasetID.fileType{?query}
For example,
https://coastwatch.pfeg.noaa.gov/erddap/tabledap/pmelTaoDySst.htmlTable?longitude,latitude,time,station,wmo_platform_code,T_25&time>=2015-05-23T12:00:00Z&time<=2015-05-31T12:00:00Z
Thus, the query is often a comma-separated list of desired variable names,
followed by a collection of
constraints (e.g., variable<value),
each preceded by '&' (which is interpreted as "AND").
For details, see the tabledap Documentation.
