The most recent version of this database contains records that were collected during 1992-2011. The data were collected using a standardised ESAS methodology. The Belgian Science Policy (BELSPO) and the Management Unit of the North Sea Mathematical Models and the Scheldt Estuary (MUMM) sponsored parts of the data collection. The data have been used to produce atlasses of seabird distrution, vulnerability maps and biological valuation maps. Subsequently, these data have been used for a wide variety of research purposes. |
