Le 5 tartarughe monitorate in questo progetto sono state catturate da reti a strascico nel Golfo di Manfredonia. Per ridurre al minimo lo stress per gli animali, le trasmittenti satellitari sono state applicate appena possibile dopo l’arrivo delle tartarughe al porto e le tartarughe sono state rilasciate subito dopo.
